My grandmother is already 89 years old. I am, at this time, really thankful that she is able to thrive and still okay. Knowing the mortality rate at this point in time, it really is a blessing to be able to make it almost nine decades now. So what gives?
Well for one, she’s living a healthy lifestyle – and that’s very important. Second, she’s a jetsetter mind you? Traveled around the world, my dear granny and was once a beauty queen in her time (well, in the whole province). And none of us her grandchildren made it to being a beauty queen nor joined one! She, I would assume made so many things in her lifetime and I admire her for that.
Now that she’s aged (beautifully), there are really things that we cannot ignore when we get old, and the one thing that we made sure she will get is Medicare D Enrollment since it is quite important since getting old means taking more medicines. So what is this Medicare Part D? It’s in fact drug benefit insurance for Medicare holders. In our times when medicines can be pricey, such an assurance of being covered particularly for people like granny made it more reasonable, more so that there are companies who offer cost free comparison (especially if it's a Medicare Part D deductible). That alone is a big help, not necessarily to defray but at least to minimize costs. Do you have it? In this ever polluted world, this makes a difference.
